Dear reader,

The primary goal of this blog is to share some practical interesting knowledge and tips on beauty and health in a way that is informative, simple and fun. I am very excited to start this platform with readers old and new, someone like you.

The main focus of this blog is how to take care of mature, sensitive skin, especially those who are going through menopause.  I strongly believe that both men and women can enjoy healthy, gorgeous skin without spending a fortune on super expensive cosmetics or injecting intrusive, toxic chemicals into the skin in order to look young and pretty.

Topics concerning green cosmetics and consumer behaviour will be another focal point. With the devastating impacts on our planet caused by global climate change, there is an urgent call for businesses from all sectors to change their mindset, taking serious actions to cut down plastic waste, minimizing land and sea pollution,  moving to Eco-friendly packaging and green energy. One of the driving forces to create Moonette is to use reusable packaging for all our products,  to encourage local customers to change their behaviour by cleaning and recycling their empty beauty bottles and pots, rather than dumping them in the bin. I would like to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to those loyal customers who have been supporting our recycling scheme over the past three years.

I hope that you will find something useful here. Also, I hope that you will keep coming back to our website and check updates on Moonette’s Blog.  If you would like to contribute to the contents of this blog (e.g. articles, photos, videos, etc.), please contact me by email at margaret@moonette.es, or send me a message on our Facebook page @ www.facebook.com/moonette.es.

The skin around the eyes is the most sensitive on our face. It is more inclined to dryness and dehydration and it is one of the first places that show signs of ageing, such as wrinkles, fine lines and drooping eyes. Most people don’t pay much attention to the skin around their eyes. If you are one of them, maybe it is time to reassess your daily skin routine as your age advances.
